Midland Park is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough’s population was 7,128, reflecting an increase of 181 (+2.6%) from the 6,947 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 100 (−1.4%) from the 7,047 counted in the 1990 Census.
Midland Park was incorporated as a borough on September 6, 1894, at the height of the “Boroughitis” craze then sweeping through Bergen County that led to the creation of over two dozen new municipalities in the county in that one year alone. The new borough consisted of portions of both Franklin Township and Ridgewood Township. The borough expanded in April 1920 by adding another part of Franklin Township. In a referendum held on June 9, 1931, Midland Park acquired additional land from Wyckoff (which until 1926 had been known as Franklin Township). The borough says that Midland Park was named after the New Jersey Midland Railway, which operated the railroad passing through the area of the borough in the 1870s, though elsewhere the name is said to be based on being situated “amid Bergen hills”.
Firepits – Outdoor Fireplaces add a touch of class to your outdoor space, whether you are looking to keep warm in the winter or savor the ambiance of the fire in the summer. These fire features are a great centerpiece for any backyard and make great focal points for large gatherings. Although firepits don’t provide heat or light, they can light walkways, mark the boundaries of your yard, and look stunning around a swimming pool at night.
The beauty of firepits is that there are many different styles and sizes to fit any outdoor setting. The design of a wood-burning fire pit can be as intricate or simple as you desire. Some models have ornate designs, while others are quite simple. Either way, the firepit you choose should complement your home’s design and decor. For a truly romantic atmosphere, consider using a firepit with a glass bowl for wood.
While choosing the right firepit for your outdoor space, keep in mind that they can be expensive. Custom fireplaces can cost several thousand dollars, but you can purchase modular kits for a fraction of the cost. While fireplaces are a great addition to your outdoor living space, make sure to always supervise the flames and follow fire safety guidelines. It’s always better to make a small fire than a large one, as larger fires are more likely to be dangerous.
You can buy a custom-made firepit from a fireplace specialist in Northern New Jersey and Southern New Jersey. Some fireplace professionals offer custom-made firepits, and you can get them installed by a fireplace expert in any of these cities. You can even contact a fireplace specialist in your area to discuss your design ideas. They will be happy to help you decide on which firepit to purchase for your outdoor space. If you are planning on installing a custom-built fireplace, make sure you take the time to consult with a designer or contractor. The designer will advise you on positionality and materials. The contractor will assist with the framing and installation. Make sure to check clearances and other factors for safety before you start building. The fireplace is a nice addition to any yard, and it can make a great talking point when potential home buyers are visiting!
If you’re interested in installing an electric fireplace, the Opti-Myst is an electric fireplace that uses electrosonic technology and lights to create an effect similar to a real flame. The Opti-Myst has the option of using your existing chimney or venting horizontally through your wall.
There are many materials that can be used to build a firepit. Some are made from wood, while others are made from metal or concrete. Depending on their design, you’ll need to choose a material that matches your aesthetic needs. Metal fire pits are usually heavy and can rust if not protected. Stainless steel is also rust-resistant and easy to clean. Aluminum is lightweight and rust-resistant.
When it comes to fuel for your firepit or outdoor fireplace, there are a few things to keep in mind. First of all, make sure to know the size of the fire you want to create. Make sure to choose a fuel that is safe for the device. Don’t overload the fire by using too much fuel. Excessive fires waste fuel, and can also damage the device and cause a hazardous fire condition.
Next, consider the fuel. While ordinary fire pits put out a moderate amount of heat and smoke, smokeless fire pits allow for higher temperatures and are designed for high airflow. Some smokeless pits, such as Solo Stove and Breeo, channel much of the heat upward, while others are more difficult to work with. Choose the fuel that works best for you and your family. Your fire pit will be an accent piece for your hardscape.
